On Friday, Jadon and Isaiah suddenly grew very interested in sewing (we have a couple Klutz books about very basic sewing skills). Isaiah made a little sachet and Jadon made a more elaborate sachet, lined with lace (above) and then a pin book (after he stepped on a pinned project and had the trauma of a pin sticking into the bottom of his foot).
You can see his oldest-child, tiny compulsive stitches more clearly in the photo below.
I think the more intense mommy-time endeared me to the boys. Isaiah spent most of Saturday afternoon making me post-it notes and hanging them around the house. My favorite was this one (duplicated numerous times until he did manage to make the heart shape on the first try).
And I liked the picture of our house (trailer) a good bit, too. So recognizable!
